About

Harm reduction is a comprehensive, evidence-based program aimed to assist persons who use drugs.

The goals of the program is to:

  • Reduce the transmission of blood-borne pathogens
  • Increase the access and support to substance use disorder treatment
  • Reduce opiate-related deaths
  • Reduce needle stick injuries to community members and first responders
  • Reduce hospitalization rates due to opioid overdoses and related infections related to substance use

Eligibility

No eligibility requirements.

How to Participate in the Program

Participants are asked to complete a new client intake form. Afterwards, clients receive an identification card with an anonymous client ID code.

Appointments

Walk-in opportunities are available.
