Family Fun and Resource Expo

Oakland County's third Health & Housing Summer Fest was a success with 426 people in attendance at Normandy Oaks Park on July 30! As a result of the event, many Oakland County residents received beneficial resources for their households.

• 439 backpacks filled with school supplies for children
• 60 children received vision screenings and 18 pairs of glasses from Vision to Learn
• 56 vendors were available to speak with attendees about housing, health and other support services
• 36 hearing screenings and ear exams for children and adults
• 30 haircuts and 20 manicures for children
• 14 vaccinations given to adults and children
• 6 children screened for lead
