Whether you enjoy active recreation or just love to be outdoors, Oakland County Parks offers myriad opportunities to get involved in your parks system. Take a hike or stroll, help with events and activities, capture and share park memories on social media or attend a parks commission meeting.

OCP operates or manages 19 sites that contribute to the high quality of life that attracts businesses and residents to its 63 communities. Since 1966, the Oakland County Parks system has grown to 7,632 acres and nearly 100 miles of trails that align with its mission to provide equitable access, conservation, recreation and health and wellness benefits. Additional sites in Troy and Southfield are scheduled to open in 2027. Year-round recreation opportunities ranging from camping, hiking, swimming, boating, golfing and picnicking to cross-country skiing, platform tennis and sledding.
