Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Forest Bathing: World Mental Health Day

Rest, reflect and renew during Forest Bathing program

In honor of World Mental Health Day, Amy Wargo from Earthly Connections will lead a forest mental cleanse, providing tools for reducing stress and fostering connections from 3-4:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at Red Oaks Nature Center. This Wellness in the Woods program is suitable for ages 12+.

  • These programs are suitable for individuals ages 12 and older
  • Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-585-0100 during nature center hours or register online.
  • Cost is $20/person
