Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Apple Cider Pressing

Enjoy a sweet tradition during Apple Cider Pressing program

Try your hand at grinding apples and pressing cider during Apple Cider Pressing from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 24 at Wint Nature Center. Taste fresh Michigan cider and donuts and enjoy an early fall hike. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-625-6473 during nature center hours or register online.

Details:
  • Bring a pre-washed, light-colored T-shirt to decorate with apple and leaf prints.
  • This program is suitable for all ages
  • Cost is $10/person
