Let nature be your classroom: Homeschool series moves to a weekly format
Students can participate in inquiry-based learning each week during the new Homeschool program format. Participants will explore a different topic, create a STEM-based project and form friendships with local homeschool students from 2-4 p.m. on Thursdays, Oct. 8-Dec. 3 (no class Nov. 26) at Red Oaks Nature Center. A weekly series means more opportunities for students to enjoy the outdoors and learn about nature through hands-on lessons guided by experienced naturalists.
One flat fee covers all eight sessions. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-585-0100 during nature center hours or register online.
Details:
- Cost is $80/child/series.
- Participants must register for the entire series.
