Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Painting in the Garden

Nature inspires creativity during Painting in the Garden program

 Unleash your creativity in the heart of nature! Join a Michigan-based artist for an inspiring outdoor watercolor session during the Painting in the Garden program. This beginner-friendly class combines hands-on instruction with the calming power of nature, designed to boost well-being and encourage mindfulness. American Sign Language interpretation will be available. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-625-6473 during nature center hours or register online.

  • This program is suitable for ages 16+
  • Cost is $25/person
