The Caseflow Unit is responsible for managing and monitoring cases from filing through final disposition, ensuring the efficient progression of matters through the court system.

As part of this responsibility, the Unit coordinates and schedules a wide range of court proceedings.  For civil matters, this may include pretrial conferences, case evaluations, motion hearings, and trials.  For criminal matters, the Unit schedules arraignments.  Additional appearance types such as pretrial proceedings, evidentiary hearings, trials, and sentencings are scheduled by the assigned judge's office.

The Caseflow Unit also oversees the docketing and scheduling of miscellaneous motions and is responsible for processing requests to adjourn or reschedule previously scheduled court events.  Through theses functions, the Unit helps ensure the orderly administration of the Court's calendar and the timely movement of cases toward resolution
