About
The NoHaz Consortium is a group of Oakland County communities that have come together to provide residents with a safe, reliable and environmentally-responsible way to dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW). These wastes are the substances in your home that can be harmful to humans and the environment if not disposed of properly. Each year, NoHaz schedules collection events to provide disposal opportunities for residents of the member communities.
Not all Oakland County communities participate in the NoHaz program. There is no countywide household hazardous waste program and many communities have their own program. See NoHaz member community list below and continue to scroll down the page if you do not see your community listed:

Non-member communities
What if my community does not participate in the NoHaz program?
All communities not listed in member community list above - $135 per vehicle, per event to participate in NoHaz events. Contact your city, village or township office to ask about other programs that may be available.
All addresses outside of Oakland County - $135 per vehicle, per event
PLEASE NOTE: Brandon Township and Village of Ortonville are NOT PARTICIPATING in the NoHaz program this year.
Former participating communities Rochester and Rochester Hills utilize SOCRRA for household hazardous waste services. Visit those city websites for information.

1200 N. Telegraph Road, Pontiac
Construction Notice - Southbound Traffic Detour
Due to construction, N Telegraph Road in Pontiac will be reduced to one lane in each direction, and the exit ramps for County Center Drive W and County Center Drive E will be closed. As an alternate route, drivers can access County Center Drive E from Pontiac Lake Road. Traveling south on Telegraph Road, turn right on Pontiac Lake Rd, take first Median U-Turn Crossover (Michigan Left) to head east on Pontiac Lake Road. Continue onto County Center Drive E. NoHaz Collection Event will be on the left.
