• The Oakland County Land Bank Authority Board announced several member changes: Pam Hansen was reappointed; Scott Galloway was appointed; and Dannis Mitchell and Khalfani Stephens resigned.

• Since its inception, OCLBA has secured $2 million in state blight elimination funding and expanded its redevelopment inventory by 94 residential and vacant properties, creating new opportunities for housing, community development and economic growth.

• OCLBA will hold its next board meeting at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, in Committee Room A of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners, 1200 N. Telegraph Road, Pontiac.

Pontiac, Mich., September 9, 2026—The Oakland County Land Bank Authority (OCLBA) has announced changes to its Board of Directors as the authority continues to expand its redevelopment inventory and advance projects that support housing, historic preservation, neighborhood revitalization and community and economic development across Oakland County.

Recent OCLBA board member changes include:

• Pam Hansen has been reappointed to the OCLBA Board of Directors through August 17, 2029. Hansen serves as a trustee for the Village of Franklin and brings experience in local government, economic development and historic downtown revitalization.

• Scott Galloway has been appointed to the board, effective April 30, 2026. Galloway is a partner at Galloway & Hommel, LLP and a real estate attorney with more than 30 years of experience in real estate transactions, disputes and development matters. He also brings local government experience from his service with the City of Pleasant Ridge and the City of Ferndale.

• Dannis Mitchell and Khalfani Stephens have resigned from the board, effective February 12, 2026 and July 10, 2026, respectively.

OCLBA has secured $2 million across three rounds of the Michigan State Land Bank Authority’s Blight Elimination Program. The funding has supported stabilization of two historic homes in Pontiac’s GM Modern Housing District, demolition of the former McCarroll School and demolition of the former Emerson School.

In July 2024, the OCLBA Board approved the acquisition of 94 residential and vacant properties from the Michigan State Land Bank Authority, expanding OCLBA’s redevelopment inventory across Oakland County, with a concentration in Pontiac. The expanded inventory gives OCLBA additional properties to evaluate for strategic redevelopment, disposition and community-serving uses.

OCLBA is supporting community developer Coleman Allen LLC's redevelopment of Casa Del Rey at 111 Oneida Avenue in Pontiac, a century-old vacant building being converted into 50 “Missing Middle” apartments. The project is on schedule to open in fall 2026.

“OCLBA’s impact is made possible through strong partnerships with municipalities, state agencies, community and commercial developers, community organizations, educators and other stakeholders who share a commitment to strengthening Oakland County communities,” said Oakland County Land Bank Authority Executive Director Jill Robinson. “Together, we are removing blight where it exists, creating housing, preserving historic assets and preparing properties for productive new uses that support neighborhood revitalization, community development and economic growth.”

The Oakland County Land Bank Authority Board will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, in Committee Room A of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners, 1200 N. Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan. The meeting is open to the public.
