apprenticeship programPartner with Oakland County Michigan Works! to launch a U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship program.

A Win-Win Opportunity for Everyone

Build a Registered Apprenticeship program to expand your skilled workforce and provide a comprehensive, work-based training opportunity.

Apprenticeships combine classroom study with paid, on-the-job training under the supervision of a journey-level craftsperson or trade professional as a mentor.

The length of apprenticeships vary, depending on the training requirements that you determine are necessary for apprentices to succeed.

Registered Apprenticeship programs may be eligible for federal and state grant support.

Employer Workshop: Managing Workers Anywhere Optimizing the Performance of Hybrid and Remote Workers

  • Date: 04/29/2025 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Managing Workers Anywhere
Optimizing the Performance of Hybrid and Remote Workers

APRIL 29, 2025 | 10:00 - 11:30 AM
The way we work is changing fast. Hybrid work arrangements are rapidly becoming the norm across the country, with fully remote jobs still prevalent. The 2024 Hybrid Work Report from OfficeRND indicates 28 percent of U.S. workers now enjoy a hybrid schedule, split between their workplace and home offices; 13 percent still work from home on a full-time basis.

Has your approach to managing talent adapted to this popular trend? Can you manage a team that you cannot always see in a traditional workplace setting?

Join us on Tuesday, April 29, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., for a special hybrid Employer Workshop at Walsh College in Troy, Mich. This in-person/virtual, hands-on, results-oriented workshop is for leaders who want results today.

WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Sharing your greatest hybrid work challenges
  • Embracing a “virtually capable” performance strategy
  • Shifting from tracking hours to measuring real outcomes, with feedback loops
  • Learning game-changing approaches to make leading hybrid and remote teams easier
  • Using creative ways to recognize and motivate your hybrid or remote teams
