Build a Registered Apprenticeship program to expand your skilled workforce and provide a comprehensive, work-based training opportunity.

Apprenticeships combine classroom study with paid, on-the-job training under the supervision of a journey-level craftsperson or trade professional as a mentor.

The length of apprenticeships vary, depending on the training requirements that you determine are necessary for apprentices to succeed.

Registered Apprenticeship programs may be eligible for federal and state grant support.

According to a global study by Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites, 77 percent of adult job seekers surveyed said an organization’s culture would be carefully considered before applying there. More than 50 percent said culture is more important than pay.

This culture is often evident in an organization’s brand, whether intentional or not. That brand is shaped by employees, candidates and the community. This culture, when clearly defined and communicated, can be a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining the right people to work for you. The question is whether leadership is guiding and shaping your brand story, or letting it shape itself.
